Interest Charges

The following interest charge applies for the 2018/19 budget:

Where no election has been made to pay rates and charges by instalments, 11% p.a.will be charged on a daily basis on outstanding accounts, 35 DAYS after the date of issue shown on the rates notice.

In addition, 5.5% will apply to rates outstanding where the ratepayer has previously elected to pay the rate by instalments, unless the ratepayer is an entitled, registered person under the Rates and Charges (Rebates and Deferments) Act, 1992.
