Request Copies of Plans
Should you require a copy of plans for your property in the Town of East Fremantle, you can arrange for the Town to retrieve the plans by submitting a Request for Copies of Plans and email admin@eastfremantle.wa.gov.au.
Alternativley, you can submit the application form and proof of identity documents in person at the Town Hall, 135 Canning Highway, East Fremantle. Business hours are between 8:30am to 4:30pm.
A non-refundable fee of $170.50 is applicable.
Please allow a minimum of 14 working days to retrieve the plans. In some cases, additional processing time may apply.
WHO CAN REQUEST COPIES?
Plan searches will only be undertaken if the request form is signed by the property owner. Only the property owner is entitled to view or request copies of the Town's Plans.
The Owner includes:
- The person shown on the Town’s records as being the owner
- A person who is authorised in writing by the owner
A Real Estate Agent IS NOT permitted to authorise copies of plans without written approval and proof of identity from the current property owner.
Owners requesting copies of Strata Plans will be given plans for their own unit ONLY. Should a copy of the entire complex be required, written authorisation from the Strata Manager or Body Corporate is required.
Refunds
The Town will endeavour to obtain the requested information, however if the information/plans is not available or not of your expected quality, the search fee will not be refunded.
Proof of identity
The legal property owner/applicant will need to supply proof of identity when submitting the request form. i.e Drivers license, Passport or Rates form.
