Jaqueline Scott will join the Town of East Fremantle next month as Executive Manager Technical Services.

CEO Jonathan Throssell said he was delighted to welcome Jacqueline, an experienced civil engineer and leader who has previously worked in local government in the UK, at the cities of Perth and South Perth, and most recently as Manager of Urban Landscape and Conservation at the City of Nedlands.

“Ms Scott’s experience encompasses the full range of technical services skills from municipal engineering, waste management, program and project management to contract management and strategy, horticulture and arboriculture, workplace health and safety, operations and fleet management,” he said.

“She will not only bring her skills, local government knowledge and a strong values-based leadership, but will also add to the diversity of the executive leadership team in the Town.”

Ms Scott said she felt connected to East Fremantle because she lived nearby and played sports, including golf, in the region.

“I moved to this area because it provides such a great environment to live in, especially being near the river, and I’m excited to be a part of actively supporting that great environment in East Fremantle,” she added.

“I am looking forward to meeting the team – including the Elected Members, Executive and staff – and community members and delivering great things for the East Fremantle community.”

Ms Scott will commence on 5 March.
