Town of East Fremantle welcomes Executive Manager Regulatory Services, Fraser Henderson

The Town of East Fremantle is pleased to announce the appointment of Fraser Henderson as Executive Manager Regulatory Services.

With over 20 years’ experience in local government, including delivering complex planning and development projects in Perth, Queensland and Auckland, Mr Henderson will join the Town in the new year.

Mr Henderson has held the role of Major Projects Officer at the Town of Cambridge since May 2024, and was its Acting Director of Planning and Community Service from October 2022 until May 2024.

Previous experience includes as Manager of City Planning and Future at the City of Stirling for over 10 years.

Town of East Fremantle Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Throssell, said Mr Henderson’s extensive experience in planning in a local government environment, coupled with his strong business acumen, leadership, project governance and stakeholder engagement skills, would be an asset to the Town.

“I am thrilled to welcome Mr Henderson to East Fremantle,” Mr Throssell said.

Mr Henderson said he was looking forward to working with Town of East Fremantle staff, Mayor Jim O’Neill, Elected Members, and the community from 28 January 2025.

“As a former resident of the Town, I appreciate its unique quality and strong community spirit,” he added.
